28 weeks - Bring on the 3rd Trimester!

28 weeks or 84 days, to be exact, until due date

Total weight gain?  Gaining daily/weekly but right on track  
Size of baby:  about 2.5 lbs.

Maternity clothes?  yes

Stretch marks? shhh, don't talk about them and maybe they won't appear

Sleep? some nights good, some not so good

Best moment of the past few weeks?  Getting flowers "just because" from Watson.  That's what is great about him - he just knows when I'm a little off.  After my drs. appointment, I was feeling a little blue to say the least.  Let me just say, stepping on the scales is NEVER fun nor does it get any easier.  I know weight gain and pregnancy go hand in hand but there's just something about seeing numbers pop up that I've never seen before... and to think it's only going to increase for the next couple of months.  Anyway, back to my appointment. Then the nurse proceeds to explain the glucose test (which is why I'm there) "you will need to drink this 10 oz. of fruit punch syrupy concoction within 5 minutes while you watch a video on epidurals, then you'll sit here for an hour and will then have your blood drawn."  REALLY?!  Basically, chug sugar on an empty stomach while watching needles go into a person's back then sit here for an hour and get all worked up over labor and delivery then go have 4 tubes of blood drawn.  Happy day to me!  Needless to say a healthy Baby Boy and the flowers brightened my day :)  Thanks Watson!

On another note, we finally decided on a name!!

Miss anything?  My independence.  Being able to do what I want to do, eat and drink what I want to, move how I used to be able to, wear what I want to, lift what I want to...

Movement?  Definitely!

Food cravings?  cereal.  I could eat it every meal - specifically Cheerios, Cinnamon Cheerios, Special K Cinnamon Pecan and Special K Blueberry.  Gotta change it up sometimes!

Anything make you queasy or sick? not that I've come across lately

Symptoms:  sciatic nerve pain = AWFUL!  

Gender prediction? It's a boy!

Belly button, in or out? in

Wedding rings, on or off? on

Happy or Moody? Moody!  I'm a big ball of emotions -  happy to scared to nervous to anxious  to happy, well you get the picture... (read story from above)

Looking forward to? So many things: finishing up the nursery, my first Baby Showers and the growth ultrasound!!

Nursery progress:  Lots of progress being made, I promise.  Doesn't appear that way from the pictures but you should see our basement, also known as the workshop as of late!

In other news:

We attended a fundraiser event, "Snow Ball", this past weekend for Main Street Greeneville.  

I'm proud of myself for gettting dressed up and going out when I don't feel so cute!  Ha
