So my dear friend Katherine started blogging a couple of months ago and I must say, her posts are quite entertaining! One of her most recent posts was her "List of Favorites", which I believe she obtained the idea from someone else. Anyway, I thought this was a great idea so here are a few of my favorite things as of late!
- Philosophy's Hope in A Jar - I know this has been around FOREVER and I've always known it's been out there! However, I just discovered it! Since I became pregnant my face has broken out worse than a middle schoolers - ugh. With pregnancy comes all of the things to avoid, including any face medicine, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, etc (which I'm desperately needing....or did). So I decided to give this moisturizer a try - Bingo, face has cleared dramatically! Could be coincidence, my hormones leveling out - who knows. I'm contributing it to Hope in A Jar!
- O.P.I. Over the Taupe nail polish - love it for the Fall/Winter! You should check it out :)
- Cuties - little clementines that are soooo juicy and easy to peel. Delicious!
- Cocoa Butter creme - yes, I said creme, not lotion. My stomach has been itching like crazy due to stretching. I try not to think about the stretching part. The stuff is like Crisco - no joke! Whatever it is, I lather it on twice a day so I don't claw my skin off and it works.
- Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors "A Neighborly Christmas" album - love them! Ellie, Drew Holcomb's wife, and I were Tri-delts at UT together and her talented self, along with her husband, have become very successful (no surprise there)! Definitely should check them out on iTunes
- Belly Band - this great invention allows me to wear my regular pants instead of making the conversion to those oh-so-lovely-maternity pants. Not sure how much longer this device will suffice!
- Greeneville Antique Market - this is a great find! They are located on Depot St. downtown Greeneville. I've been in there a couple of times before but didn't see much. That was until Mom and Dad came up to visit a couple of months ago and Mom loves antique stores so off we go! At this visit, I eyed a table and hutch that I thought would be perfect for a changing table but I was newly pregnant and hadn't really started nursery furniture shopping yet. Sooo I thought about it, went furniture shopping and I kept coming back to this piece in my mind. Needless to say, we went back to purchase it a couple of weeks ago and while there found a bedside table along with an antique dresser! Lots of treasures in this place :)
- Fresh Market's Cinnamon & Hazelnut coffee - decaf of course. Very festive and makes your house smell great!
Stay tuned for more of my favorites...
